LIP TREATMENT
What Is Lip Treatment?
Lip treatment refers to non surgical procedures that may be performed to modify lip contour, volume, or symmetry. Treatment may also be considered for fine vertical lines around the mouth, sometimes referred to as perioral lines.
Lip treatment can be performed for both women and men. Depending on individual concerns, the upper lip, lower lip, or both may be treated during the same session.
Different products and techniques may be used based on individual anatomy, clinical assessment, and treatment goals. A consultation is required to determine suitability and discuss appropriate options.
The Procedure
A detailed consultation and clinical assessment are undertaken prior to treatment. During this appointment, available options, potential benefits, limitations, and risks will be discussed to determine suitability.
The lips are a sensitive area and topical or local anaesthesia may be used to improve comfort. Immediately following treatment, swelling may occur and the initial appearance may not reflect the final outcome. Final results are typically assessed after swelling has settled.
Patients are generally advised to avoid strenuous exercise for approximately 24 hours following treatment, unless otherwise directed.
Before & After
Post-procedure images are typically taken between 3 to 12 months following treatment.
Individual results vary and these photographs are provided for illustrative purposes only. They do not represent or guarantee that similar outcomes can be achieved. Factors such as individual anatomy, healing response, genetics, and lifestyle may influence results.

Recovery
Recovery
Recovery times can vary between individuals. Generally:
Mild swelling may be noticeable immediately after treatment
Bruising and tenderness are common in the early post-treatment period
The lips may feel firm or uneven until swelling settles
Most patients return to usual daily activities within 24 to 48 hours
Final results are typically assessed once swelling has resolved
Careful adherence to post-treatment instructions is important to support appropriate healing.
